Hello everyone,
This week, we will continue to practice telling time on a clock.
As we have talked about in class, the shorter hand of the clock is the hour hand and the longer hand of the clock is the minute hand.
For homework, complete the worksheet I gave you in class by filling in the correct times next to the appropriate clocks.
I found a cool website for those of you who need or want more practice telling time.
Learn to Tell Time with Blackdog's Time Telling Game:

SNOW DAY!
Hello everyone,
I am sure most of you are happy that school is closed another day! I hope you all enjoy your day off and stay safe and warm out there! I am providing you with an opportunity to do an extra credit assignment.
If you would like to participate in the extra credit please go to
http://prek-8.com/math/grade2/moneyword.html
Print this worksheet out, answer it accordingly, and turn it in for 3 points on your next test!
Remember this is extra credit and you do not have to do it. You must turn it in tomorrow Friday, February 12th in order to receive the 3 points and I will not take it any later.
Thank you, Miss Michele

Quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies!!
Hello class,
This week, we will be learning how to count quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. Some of you may already know the color, size, and value of each coin. Before we begin to count, I would like you to click on the link below and watch a short clip that may help you remember the different coins!
